Product Overview

           Our series of ceramsite rotary kilns are advanced rotary cylinder calcination equipment, specifically designed for ceramsite and similar materials. It uniformly calcines materials at appropriate temperatures and is widely used in producing ceramsite sand, petroleum proppants, lightweight construction aggregates, and resource utilization of fly ash/sludge. Known for high operational rates, excellent heat transfer efficiency, and low heat consumption, it is the ideal choice for enhancing product quality and production efficiency.

Cement Production Line Workflow:

           The most commonly used material in cement preparation is limestone. However, mined limestone generally has a large particle size and needs to be crushed. Overall, processing limestone into cement involves four stages: raw material preparation and homogenization, pulverized coal preparation, clinker calcination, and cement grinding.

1.Raw Material Preparation and Homogenization: Natural limestone, clay, and other raw materials are crushed by a jaw crusher, then proportionally mixed and ground by a ball mill to produce raw meal with the appropriate composition and uniform quality.
2.Pulverized Coal Preparation: The coal required for calcining cement raw meal must be processed into pulverized coal to achieve the particle size required for combustion, ensuring complete burning and obtaining the necessary combustion reactivity. This process can involve directly purchasing pulverized coal or processing raw coal using equipment like jaw crushers and ball mills.
3.Clinker Calcination: This stage involves calcining the raw meal in a rotary kiln until it partially fuses, producing cement clinker.
4.Cement Grinding: The clinker is mixed with an appropriate amount of gypsum, admixtures, or additives and ground together into fine cement, which is then packaged for shipment.

Working Principle

         

           Raw materials or pre-made pellets enter from the kiln tail (higher end). Due to the cylinder's incline and slow rotation, materials tumble circumferentially and move axially from the kiln tail to the kiln head (lower end). During this process, materials sequentially undergo preheating, decomposition, and calcination stages, finally completing physical and chemical reactions in the high-temperature zone at the kiln head before being discharged as qualified ceramsite products.
